| The Inha College of Engineering was founded in 1954. Although young by university standards, Inha now ranks among the top five engineering schools in Korea in terms of the quality of instruction and the research contributions of its 200 faculty members.
We have fostered excellent, skilled professionals recognized in academia, and we are continuously growing with numerous accomplishments in the development of science and engineering. Our goal is to educate and encourage graduates to practice technology and engineering at the highest level and to express new ideas with confidence.
The ten major programs within the College serve as centers of excellence for study and research. Our students receive hands-on experience through various challenging courses and laboratory work.
By utilizing the resources of the multifaceted departments at our College, all students - about eight thousand undergraduates and one thousand graduates - are able to prepare for a wide range of professional careers in government, academia, and engineering.
The 21st century is the time to bring about change and innovation. I believe that the Inha College of Engineering, with its heritage of endless research and development, will be in the forefront of the 21st century by pursuing a course of leadership through technical excellence and innovation.
